Getting Started
- Download Circle from the App Store or Google Play
- Create an account with your email address
- Set your display name and optional profile picture
- Choose your first mood entry to start your wellness journey
- Tap the Circles tab at the bottom of the screen
- Search for circles by topic or interest
- Tap Join to request access, or Create to start your own
- Circle creators can set their group as open, invite-only, or private
- Tap the + button on the Home screen to log today's mood
- Choose from the mood scale (1–10) and add optional notes
- Your Mood Aura colour is generated from your recent entries
- View your mood history and trends in the Insights tab

Yes — Circle is completely free. There are no hidden subscriptions, paywalls, or premium tiers. All current features are free, and if we ever introduce premium features in the future, we will notify you clearly in advance.
On the login screen, tap Forgot Password and enter your email. You'll receive a reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive. If you still can't access your account, email us at hello@mycircle.co.nz.
A Circle is a small private group (usually 3–20 people) focused on a shared wellness goal or experience — like Anxiety Support, Grief, New Mums, or Sobriety. Members share check-ins, offer encouragement, and build accountability together. All content in a circle is only visible to circle members.
Your mood entries and journal reflections are completely private — visible only to you. Circle posts and messages are visible only to the members of that specific circle. We do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Go to Settings → Privacy → Delete Account. Your account will be deactivated immediately with a 30-day grace period (you can cancel by logging back in). After 30 days, all personal data is permanently deleted. For assistance, email hello@mycircle.co.nz.
Yes. Go to Settings → Privacy → Export Data. You'll receive a comprehensive file of all your data within 24 hours (GDPR Article 20 compliant).
Tap and hold any post or message and select Report. You can also block a user from their profile. Our moderation team reviews all reports. For urgent safety concerns, email hello@mycircle.co.nz.
- Force close and restart the app
- Check your internet connection
- Update to the latest version of Circle from the App Store or Google Play
- Restart your device
- If the problem persists, uninstall and reinstall the app (your data is stored securely in the cloud)
